A 24-year-old livery cab driver succumbed to injuries after being shot in the head by two men who had just robbed a cell phone store in Sheepshead Bay, according to police. This shooting marked the first of two murders this week involving area cab drivers. Another cabbie was shot in the stomach early New Years Day.
According to the Times, one arrest has been made in the first case.

Bus drivers at the Flatbush Depot, the home base of Edwin Thomas who was killed doing his job in Bed-Stuy, react to the loss of their co worker. They also voice concern about their safety. Horace D. Moore, 20, of Crown Heights, was arrested for the killing.

Man Arrested For Not Having License
An SUV overturned on Ralph Avenue after speeding inside the Georgetown Shopping Center on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 3 p.m, according to witnesses.
A Honda Pilot clipped another car, which sent the Pilot into a parked livery cab, and then flipped onto the sidewalk.
The driver, a 20-year-old man and a passenger were unharmed and managed to walk away from the accident. But he was arrested shortly after because he did not have a driver’s license. The livery cab driver was the most severely injured, but conscious. He was taken away by ambulance. – The Brooklyn View
